Bees Downunder is an Australian-based company founded by Dr Denis Anderson, a former CSIRO bee scientist and well-known bee identity. Its sole purpose is to provide information and support research on Australian honeybees and native bees.

Bees of all kinds are under threat everywhere and their numbers are rapidly shrinking. We at Bees Downunder are dedicated to increasing awareness about the plight of bees, their importance in our environment, and the crucial role they play in food security for all Australians through their pollinating activities.

We are also devoted to helping advance research into any threat to our bees, such as that presented to our honeybees from the deadly Varroa destructor mite.
